The test is 70 marks at a centre. The interview is 30 marks online. Writing alone carries more than the MCQs and psychometric test combined.
2 subjective questions, 20 marks each, on social, political and legal issues. 65 minutes.
10 questions on general knowledge, legal reasoning and reading comprehension. 20 minutes.
Online and timed, 20 minutes. Answers lock once given, and a question closes when its time runs out.
Online, 6 to 8 minutes. Tests personal attributes, fitment, work experience, global outlook, professionalism, ethics, values and your SOP.

I used to treat every mock like a verdict on my life and spiral after a bad one. Gaurav bhaiya made me sit with the analysis instead, question by question, until I could see why I was losing marks. That one habit is honestly why I'm at NLSIU today.
I joined for the mocks and stayed for the people. My 1 AM doubts on the WhatsApp group got answered faster than my friends reply to my texts.
Classes never felt like a lecture. Ankit bhaiya would stop and ask why I picked an option, not just whether it was right. That 'why' is what finally fixed my critical reasoning.
Yash bhaiya never let me get comfortable after a good mock. Every 'nice score' came with 'okay, now look at these five'. Exactly the push I needed.
The last two months were the hardest, and the batch didn't slow down for that. Revision plans, full-lengths, and someone checking in when my scores dipped. I never felt alone in it, which counts for a lot.
Legal reasoning felt like reading someone else's homework for months. Then somewhere in the live classes it just clicked: apply the principle, don't argue with it. After that LR became the section I actually looked forward to.
Nobody here sugarcoated anything. If my English accuracy dropped, I heard about it the same week. Kind of annoying at the time, very grateful for it now.
GK scared me because it felt endless. Here it was the opposite, a clear list of what actually matters and revision until it stuck. On exam day it was the one section I wasn't nervous about.
I was a dropper and my confidence was gone. My first mentorship call didn't start with strategy, it started with what went wrong last year. That conversation changed how I prepared the second time.
The prep tracker sounds boring but it was my favourite part. Seeing my own mistake pattern on a screen hit different than someone just telling me about it.
